Codiaeum variegatum

Croton, also called variegated laurel, changes leaf colour with the weather and light, from green and yellow to red-brown, and suits a balcony, window or bright outdoor spot. It likes bright indirect or direct light and needs plenty of sun; water about every three days, adjusting to the weather and how dry the compost is, and empty the saucer. It is toxic to pets, so stop cats and dogs chewing it. The plant is about 70 cm tall including the pot; choose a cement or ceramic pot, or a nursery pot. Delivery in Hong Kong.
